Daryl and Jeff wanted to get married close to home, in the place where they are building their life together! Shorehaven Golf Club in Norwalk happened to check all the boxes: on the water, close to home, good food, and the perfect place to gather with their loved ones and dance the night away.

I arrived at the venue, where Daryl and her bridesmaids were getting their finishing touches from the incredible hair and makeup team at Hart Bridal Company! Shorehaven has two rooms upstairs overflowing with natural light, which makes them the best spot for hair, makeup, and getting-ready photos.

 Daryl and Jeff had their first look by the water, and we took portraits of them around the golf course grounds, as well as photos of their wedding party and families before the ceremony. This way, once cocktail hour started, they could be present and enjoy time with their guests.

It was a perfect, sunny August day for the ceremony on the lawn overlooking the golf course, and one of their close friends married them, which is always my favorite type of ceremony. I learned so much about them and their love story!

Cocktail hour was in the tent, providing much-needed shade as they hugged and greeted their guests. Then we took some adorable photos with their daughter, the sweetest little flower girl!

When they entered the room, everyone went crazy and waved their napkins in the air. I loved the excitement and energy that pumped them up for the first dance.

After a few heartfelt speeches, they stepped outside for a quick minute to stroll along the water together during golden hour.

Back inside, they opened the dance floor with parent dances, and then the party really took off. They danced the night away!
